The great thing about flakes these days is that they are cut from new and exiting foils and that we now have the technology to cut these metal flake smaller than ever, making them easier to use than ever, and eliminating the need for special sanding to knock the flakes down. These can be sprayed with both HVLP paint guns and airbrushes. I have painted with them and they are awesome-taking only 3 coats of clear to completely cover with no sanding, and my powder coater loves them too! Our durable polyester metal flake can be used in a variety of other applications like fiberglass gelcoat, or for creating interesting faux-finish effects in the home or on your favorite hobby project.
