Our Candy Paint Pearl Pigments are simply the best, and they are at the best prices you will find out here in cyberspace. Our candy paint is made from pearl pigments that are mixed with clear coatings (paint or powder coat), and applied over different colors of bases to give depth to a paint job, instead of having a flat, boring 1 dimensional paint job. Good paint jobs are generally applied in several different stages. For instance, we mostly know that blue+yellow=green. Blue candy paint over a yellow or gold base will give a multi-dimensional color shift green, if applied right. Dust that with a violet pearl and you have a chameleon color changing paint job with tons of depth. Our colors can all be mixed to create new colors and flip paints! Attention Powder Coaters: Our Candies require a lower baking temp than our Ghost Pearls, so keep your ovens at 400 degrees for Candies.
Our Candy Paint Pearls are slightly opaque, meaning that they will competely cover any base coat after several coats. Remember, you are dealing with solid particles of mica, meaning that you will not acheive a truly transparent finish, but will get a semi-transparent finish or a metallic finish,depending on the amout of our pearl candy you use in you clear coat. You can also use these pigments in other mediums, such as epoxys and water-based paints.
